I wasn't involved in the trichocereus community, my main focus was building up our succulent side of the business. He shared cuttings and named them Skip per tendency to skip aereoles. I always called it campground as it was near a campground my family and I would visit yearly. Skip is the popular name, I tend to dislike it because other pachanois can also skip. It's a characteristic but not a name. Theres a bridge called melting wax because it looks like it melts sometimes. So do other bridgesiis which at times get called Melty too. More confusion!
