Trichocereus bridgesii "N1" x Trichocereus bridgesii "Psycho0" (11" Tip cutting) *AUCTION*
(1) Trichocereus bridgesii "N1" x Trichocereus bridgesii "Psycho0" (11" Tip cutting) up for Auction.
From Trichocereus.net on "N1":
"The N1 clone comes from our friend Nitrogen. The pics were all provided by Nitrogen and he used this plant in numerous cross. It is a Trichocereus bridgesii with a massive spination and beautiful golden/orange spines.
The plants I saw have 6 ribs and 3 – 5 long and sharp spines that you really don´t want to get too close to. I am still trying to get flower pics of the N1 and I´ll update this post as soon as I am able to get some. This clone has a much more massive appearance than many other plants with Tr. bridgesii genetics."
From Trichocereus.net on "Psycho0":
"The clone was dedicated to the same-named SAB member, who unfortunately died at a very young age. It has always been a very popular clone that was given to many members on SAB. It spread through the Cactus community very fast and it´s a nice thing to see that so many people still keep our lost friend in mind. The clone originally came from Cactus Country, the legendary cactus garden in Strathmerton, Australia.
PSYCHO0 is an Echinopsis lageniformis with long, strong spines that are yellow in color. The plants usually have three very strong spines, that look pretty unique, though it can sometimes look like a more typical Echinopsis lageniformis."
This is an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL HYBRID!!! The spines are absolutely unreal, pictures do not even do it justice.
Trichocereus bridgesii, or Echinopsis lageniformis is a very fast-growing columnar cactus from Bolivia. To the indigenous people of Bolivia it is often known as achuma.
Any time I'm dealing with these brutally large bridgesii spines I always use my HexArmor ThornArmor Cactus Gloves to protect my hands!
