Great story to this glorious cactus, one I never tire of telling. A friend of mine that I got the cutting from has a good friend that is Peruvian. The Peruvian guy’s Grandfather brought this cutting over in a backpack over 50 years ago when he came to the US from Peru. 
Must have been a pretty special cactus to have been brought over in a backpack, eh?
