Blue Myrtle Cactus, Myrtillocactus geometrizans [Rare Red-Spined Form] (6-8" cutting)

$ 10.00

Ascetically this is one of my favorite cacti! The spines come out a brilliant red, particularly soon after emerging. A very beautiful version of Blue Myrtle.

Blue Myrtle, or Myrtillocactus geometrizans is native to Central and Northern Mexico. It is a very glaucous (Blue hued) cactus and this one is particularly thick and beautiful. A very popular cactus in landscaping, cultivation, and used as a grafting stock.

This will be a 6-8" cutting, suitable for grafting stock, or a great start for a cultivated plant as well.

This sure is a spiny one so I always wear my HexArmor ThornArmor Cactus Gloves to protect my hands!

And don't forget to do all of your gardening and cactusing in style with your Mallacht's Plants T-Shirts
