T peru "Nubs" aka “Icaro Pheno 2” (10-11" Tip Cutting)

1 of 4 hand selected Icaro phenos in the Mallacht’s Plants garden. Icaro Pheno 2 isn’t offered often as it grows a bit slower than Icaro Pheno 1. It is also more glaucous (bluish-grey) and far more notchy

An amazing peruvianus orginally acquired from my good friend Joel V in Texas. 

It was named "Nubs" after the NOFX song of the same name. 🤘🎸

All of the 4 Icaro Phenotypes in the garden have officially been named:

Icaro Pheno 1 = “Moon Child”

Icaro Pheno 2 = “Nubs”

Icaro Pheno 3 = “Atreyu”

Icaro Pheno 4 = “Shawty” (shortest spines out of all 4 of them by far)

Both “Moon Child” and “Atreyu” are references to the movie “The Neverending Story”

“Nubs” is because of the notchy areoles it has. A reference to the song by the same name by NOFX
