$ 12.00 $ 15.00

(1) Stapelia gigantea cutting, well rooted in 3.5" pot.

Stapelia gigantea is a species of flowering plant in the genus Stapelia of the family Apocynaceae

They are part of the carrion flower family of plants, a type of succulent plant from Africa that has been adapted to smell like rotting flesh (Although I've put my face right into these beautiful flowers and not smelled much of anything) in order in attract flies as pollinators rather than bees. This is very fascinating, as Africa has had a problematic, dwindling bee population for a long time.

The last pics are examples of the plant(s) you will receive. :)
