T peru "Short Spine Peru" aka Verne's "Fastest"

Many consider any short spined peru" to be merely a thicker, short-spined Pachanoi, very similar to what many are now calling a "true Ecuadorian pachanoi" - due to Keeper Trout's articles on the subject. Whether it's actually a true pachanoi or a short-spined peruvianus is up for debate, regardless it's one of the most beautiful plants in our collection here at Mallacht's Plants.

T peru is a vigorously growing columnar cactus from the Western side of the Andes Mountain region in Peru.
